Ruins Rambles are presented monthly from November to May by the Education Outreach Program of the St. Croix Landmarks Society. Exploring ruins is an enjoyable way to learn about St. Croix History. Each Ramble follows a similar format: We assemble at the site before 3:30pm. Following a brief overview of the history of the property by a knowledgeable guide, the hike takes us to ruins and points of interest on the property. The historic interpretation and hike usually take from 60 to 90 minutes. Refreshments of local fruit drinks, wine, cheese and assorted breads and crackers round out the afternoon.
