Genealogy

The St. Croix Landmarks Society Library and Archives hold Danish West Indian and Virgin Islands census records from 1841 through 1930, as well as slave lists, matricals, "free colored" lists and other government generated statistical records. 

A current project involves the copying of church records and the St. Croix Vital Statistics records to add to the collections. An extensive vertical file collection on all aspects of Virgin Islands history includes unique genealogy materials.
